Here we describe how we collect, use, and handle your information when you use our website, apps, and services (the “Services”).
What and Why
We collect and use the following information to provide, improve and protect our Services:
Services. When you use our Services, we store, process, analyze, and transmit the photos on your device and information related to them (for example, geographic location, tags, and other metadata). If you give us access to your contacts, we’ll store those contacts on our servers. This will make it easy for you to do things like share your content, send emails, and invite others to use the Services. If your friends accept your requests, we will also add their photos along with related information about the Photos, which may include status updates, comments, and additionally-uploaded Photos. If you give us permission to receive your mobile device location data, we collect and retain the location information from your device (for example, we may get your location information so we can tell you if any of your friends are taking pictures nearby). Our Services provide features that allow you to request photos of yourself from other users of the Services and for you to automatically share photos on your device with other users. If you give us permission to automatically share your photos with your friends who use the Services, will attempt to do so accurately when we believe we have identified the right circumstances to share your photos. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of this feature or any other features of the Services.
Usage. We collect information from and about the devices you use to access the Services. This includes things like IP addresses, the type of browser and device you use, the web page you visited before coming to our sites, and identifiers associated with your devices. Your devices (depending on their settings) may also transmit location information to the Services.
Cookies and other technologies. We use technologies like cookies and pixel tags to provide, improve, protect and promote our Services. For example, cookies help us with things like remembering your username for your next visit, understanding how you are interacting with our Services, and improving them based on that information. You can set your browser to not accept cookies, but this may limit your ability to use the Services.
Photos. We use image recognition and face recognition technology to enable the Services to identify people, objects, and scenes in your photos and your friends’ photos. To do so, the Services may upload your photos to our servers for analysis. These images are used in connection with the Services and for no other purpose.

We may share information as discussed below, but we won’t sell it to advertisers or other third-parties.
We may share or disclose information as follows:
Analytics. Like most websites and app developers, we use third party analytic services to gather information through automated means such as cookies and similar technologies. We may engage a third party to help us track and analyze anonymous information from users of the Services.

We may also provide them with reports that contain aggregated and statistical data for general marketing and demographic purposes.
Service Providers. Information compiled from our Services may be shared with service providers, like technical agents, subcontractors, and our affiliates and consultants, that are helping us with our Services. These intermediaries and data processors use your information in connection with performing the Services for which we have engaged them.
Investigations. We may disclose your information if permitted or required by law or is necessary to comply with the law enforcement or in response to a search warrant, subpoena or other legal process or where we believe such action is necessary in order to protect or defend our interests or the interests of our users or business partners.
Security. Information that we collect is stored on servers using standard security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information. Please be aware that no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit on or through the Services and you do so at your own risk.
Retention. We’ll retain the information of yours that we store on our Services for as long as we need it to provide you the Services. If you delete your account, we’ll also delete this information. But please note: (1) there might be some latency in deleting this information from our servers and back-up storage; and (2) we may retain this information if necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
